The NSU Saxophone Studio and Paul Forsyth will present a concert celebrating the life of the saxophone's inventor, Aldophe Sax. The concert will feature saxophone solos, duos, quartets, quintets, and choirs. Please join us in Alexandria, LA for this exciting event.

The Forsyth Jazz Collective will perform at Maglieaux's Riverfront Restaurant in downtown Natchitoches on April 14. There is no cover for this event. The Collective also features Galindo Rodriguez, Ronald Rodriguez, Jose Colon, and Sammy Nix.
The Shreveport Symphony will be performing a couple of works with saxophone, Ravel's Bolero and Gershwin's Symphonic Dances from West Side Story.
The Iridium Quartet will be premiering three new works and performing two others at the 2017 John Donald Robb Composer Symposium, the largest composer symposium west of the Mississippi. We will premiere works by Roy Magnuson, Karola Obermueller, and Peter Gilbert. The 2016 NSU Saxophone Festival will feature guest artists Griffin Campbell and Masahito Sugihara. The final concert will feature these artists as well as duos with Paul Forsyth. Earlier in the day, the guest artists will teach masterclasses and perform with the NW Louisiana Saxophone Choir.
