I will have the pleasure of performing Claude T. Smith’s Fantasia for alto saxophone and Wind Ensemble on April 16 in Magale Recital Hall on the campus of Northwestern State University. Check social media for the live-stream information.
The last stop on the Three Reeds CD Release Tour will be at the University of Alabama - Huntsville. The concert will be at 7:30 in Roberts Recital Halll on Saturday, September 28. The program will feature works from our newest album, works from our previous album, as well as a new arrangement by one of our Northwestern State University colleagues, Dr. Adam Hudlow.
The Three Reeds Duo will continue their CD release events with a performance and masterclass at Georgia State University. Recital is in Kopleff Recital at 1pm and the masterclasses will follow at 2pm.
The Three Reeds Duo will perform on a House Concert Series in Jacksonville, FL. Space will be limited. Please stay tuned for details regarding seating.

The Three Reeds Duo will present there first CD release concert of their tour in Alexandria, LA on the Nachtmusik Chamber Music Series. The concert is at the Sylvan Learning Center at 6pm. The concert will feature works from the new album, pieces from our previous album, and a brand new work.
I will have the pleasure of soloing with NSU’s Spirit of Northwestern Marching Band in Turpin Stadium.
I will travel to Albuquerque, NM for three days of guest teaching and performing at the University of New Mexico. I will teach private lessons to the students of Dr. Eric Lau and give masterclass performances and lectures.
Paul Forsyth will perform a faculty recital at Northwestern State University in Magale Recital Hall on Thursday, March 14, 2019. Dr. Forsyth will be joined by the incomparable pianist, Dr. Chialing Hsieh as well as Oliver Molina on marimba.
I will collaborate with Oliver Molina (NSU Percussion faculty) on his faculty recital. We will be performing Escape by Marc Mellits.
The Iridium Quartet will perform as featured guests at the RedNote New Music Festival which is held at Illinois State University on February 12-14, 2018. We will be featured on two recitals. February 13 - composition competition winners concert, February14 - Iridium in concert playing some of there most recent commissions
The NSU Saxophone Studio and Paul Forsyth will present a concert celebrating the life of the saxophone's inventor, Aldophe Sax. The concert will feature saxophone solos, duos, quartets, quintets, and choirs. Please join us in Alexandria, LA for this exciting event.
The Shreveport Symphony will be performing Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition in their opening concert of the season. I will get to perform the famous saxophone solo/excerpt from this masterwork.

The Forsyth Jazz Collective will perform at Maglieaux's Riverfront Restaurant in downtown Natchitoches on April 14. There is no cover for this event. The Collective also features Galindo Rodriguez, Ronald Rodriguez, Jose Colon, and Sammy Nix.
The Iridium Quartet will be premiering three new works and performing two others at the 2017 John Donald Robb Composer Symposium, the largest composer symposium west of the Mississippi. We will premiere works by Roy Magnuson, Karola Obermueller, and Peter Gilbert. Also Iridium will perform the title track from their upcoming album, Skylines by Peter Lieuwen, and Elegy by Gregory Wanamaker. See the link below for exact performance times.
