Big Band night is in full "SWING". Come check out the Bill Causey Jazz Orchestra at Margaritaville in Bossier City, LA every Tuesday starting at 6pm. I will be performing with the Orchestra on a regular basis.
Paul Forsyth and the Three Reeds Duo will travel to Cartagena, Colombia to perform and teach at the local conservatory. Stay tuned for exact dates and times of performances and classes.
The Three Reeds Duo will premiere their newest commission by Peter Lieuwen in Zagreb, Croatia at the 2018 World Saxophone Congress. The date and time of the performance has not been set, but please check back soon for updates.
The Three Reeds Duo will be attending the inaugural Woodwind Duo Symposium at Sam Houston State University, hosted my Masahito Sugihara.
I will perform with the Texarkana Symphony Orchestra for their Masterworks Concert. One of the selections will be Gershwin's American in Paris.
The Three Reeds Duo hopes to perform their most recent commission at the 2018 NASA Biennial Conference in Cincinnati, OH in March of 2018. Check back in the Fall for more details.
The Iridium Quartet will perform as the featured guests on the opening night concert at the Southeastern Composers League Conference which will be held at Northwestern State University on February 23-24, 2018. Check back for more details as the date gets closer.
Paul Forsyth will perform a faculty recital at Northwestern State University in Magale Recital Hall on Friday, February 2, 2018. Dr. Forsyth will be joined by the incomparable pianist, Dr. Chialing Hsieh.
The Forsyth Jazz Collective will perform at Maglieaux's Riverfront Restaurant in downtown Natchitoches on April 14. There is no cover for this event. The Collective also features Galindo Rodriguez, Ronald Rodriguez, Jose Colon, and Sammy Nix.
The Three Reeds Duo will perform at the University of Southern Mississippi on the evening of September 25. There will be a saxophone masterclass on the morning of Tuesday, September 26.
NSU Faculty members will be showcased in a collage concert in Magale Recital on Tuesday, September 19.

The Three Reeds Duo will premiere their newest commission by Alyssa Morris at the 2017 IDRS Conference at Lawrence University in Appleton, WI. The conference is June 20-24, 2017.
The Shreveport Symphony will be performing a couple of works with saxophone, Ravel's Bolero and Gershwin's Symphonic Dances from West Side Story.

The Iridium Quartet will be premiering three new works and performing two others at the 2017 John Donald Robb Composer Symposium, the largest composer symposium west of the Mississippi. We will premiere works by Roy Magnuson, Karola Obermueller, and Peter Gilbert. Also Iridium will perform the title track from their upcoming album, Skylines by Peter Lieuwen, and Elegy by Gregory Wanamaker. See the link below for exact performance times.
The Iridium Quartet will present a concert at Northshore High School in Houston, TX. The concert will feature works old and new and is free and open to the public.

The Iridium Quartet will begin recording their 2nd CD with Blue Griffin Recording featuring the music of Peter Lieuwen, Steve Danyew, and Carl Schimmel to name a few. The recording will take place in Natchitoches, LA.

The 2016 NSU Saxophone Festival will feature guest artists Griffin Campbell and Masahito Sugihara. The final concert will feature these artists as well as duos with Paul Forsyth. Earlier in the day, the guest artists will teach masterclasses and perform with the NW Louisiana Saxophone Choir.
On January 29, Paul Forsyth will perform a faculty recital with Elena Bogaczova on the campus of Northwestern State University. The program will feature works by Dubois and Lennon, among others.
Paul Forsyth will be performing with Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons at the Horseshoe Casino in Bossier City/Shreverport, Louisiana. This is a pay event. Tickets are available through TicketMaster.
I will be the featured clinician with the Honors Jazz Students from Texas Region 8. The students will be featured on the evening concert. Events are at Marshall High School in Marshall, Texas.
